While editing may seem superfluous to the technology-driven realities of modern media and corporate life, it is a service needed now more than ever. Chances are most of your business communications are written. Often the first impressions we make on our clients, coworkers and superiors are done through email or advertising. With all the emphasis we place on business writing, few individuals take the opportunity to polish their documents and communication by hiring an editor. Being one of those few people will make you stand out in a sea of mediocre writing.

I have worked with documents in the fields of academia, engineering, the oil and gas industry, book publishing, the arts and social media. I have taken on everything from substantial editing contracts with corporate clients to newsletter writing for small, local not-for-profits.

I am an active member of the Calgary Association of Freelance Editors and the Society for Technical Communication.
